Asim Singh Halwarvi (1994) is a pianist, composer, and educator with an extensive background in both classical and contemporary music. He holds a Master of Music and a Bachelor of Classical Music in Composition from Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, alongside training in piano performance, composition, and Hindustani classical music from the KM College of Music and Technology in Chennai, India.

Asim has spent over a decade teaching piano and music theory to students of various levels in both India and the Netherlands. Beyond the classroom, he is an active contemporary composer. His works—ranging from orchestral commissions for the Orkest de Ereprijs to electronic music showcases—have been performed at various international festivals and venues in countries such as the Netherlands, Slovenia, Hungary, Canada, Mexico and Iran.

As a teacher, Asim is passionate about sharing the joy of music and helping each student discover their own unique musical voice. He tailors his lessons to your individual goals, combining practical piano technique with a strong foundation in music theory in a supportive, creative environment. Asim Singh Halwarvi (1994) is een pianist, componist en docent met een brede achtergrond in zowel klassieke als hedendaagse muziek. Hij behaalde een Master of Music en een Bachelor Klassieke Muziek in Compositie aan Codarts Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Rotterdam. Daarnaast volgde hij opleidingen in pianoperformance, compositie en Hindoestaanse klassieke muziek aan het KM College of Music and Technology in Chennai, India.

Asim heeft al meer dan tien jaar ervaring met het geven van piano- en muziektheorielessen aan leerlingen van verschillende niveaus in zowel India als Nederland. Naast zijn werk in het klaslokaal is hij actief als hedendaags componist. Zijn werk—variërend van orkestopdrachten voor Orkest de Ereprijs tot elektronische muziekvoorstellingen—is uitgevoerd op diverse internationale festivals en podia in landen als Nederland, Slovenië, Hongarije, Canada, Mexico en Iran.

Als docent deelt Asim gepassioneerd zijn liefde voor muziek en helpt hij elke leerling om een eigen, unieke muzikale stem te ontdekken. Hij stemt zijn lessen af op jouw persoonlijke doelen en combineert praktische pianotechniek met een sterke basis in muziektheorie, allemaal binnen een ondersteunende en creatieve omgeving.
