Laura Aguilera (2002) began playing the piano at the age of five at the Santa Perpètua de Mogoda Music School in Barcelona, ​​Spain, where she took her first steps in music.

From a young age, she showed great interest and dedication, which led her to continue her education at the Sabadell Conservatory and the Granollers Conservatory. There, she received professional music education from Mònica Buxó and Jordi Masó and further deepened her knowledge of piano interpretation and repertoire.

Subsequently, Laura obtained her Bachelor of Classical Piano at the ESMUC (Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya), where she developed a strong technical and musical foundation. After completing this program, she pursued a Master’s in Piano at Codarts University of Arts (Rotterdam), where she studied with Shuann Chai. In addition, she participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned pianists, including Nino Gvedatze, David Fray, Gennady Zubenkov, Alba Ventura, and Matan Porat.

Besides her solo activities, Laura has extensive experience in chamber music and has played in various musical ensembles. Since 2020, she has also been active as a piano teacher, giving lessons to students of all ages and levels, both at music schools and privately.

She began teaching at Rootz in December 2025. Although her background is primarily classical, she knows how to effectively tailor her lessons to the musical preferences and goals of each student, with an eye for personal development, motivation, and enjoyment of music.
